White Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

Comment 1 Standard

whitechocWe made these delicious cookies just before O’s nap when he was beginning to get a little restless and they were a huge hit! That much of a hit that I have just eaten the last one! Usually when we bake we have cakes or biscuits left for days after baking them but not these cookies! I found the recipe on Two Twenty One and I know that these are going to become a regular thing in our diets!

I got all the ingredients measured out whilst O was playing with some play dough so it was easier for him to help once we started baking with him already being quite restless, usually I would have him help me measure the ingredients out to practice pouring and reading values. O loved putting the different ingredients into our mixing bowl and of course stirring the mixture with the big spoon. He also had a few sneaky pieces of chocolate and cranberries too…but so did I, we couldn’t resist!

3/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 large egg

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups quick oats

3/4 cup dried cranberries

1 1/4 cups white chocolate chips (we used broken up pieces of Milkybar chocolate instead)
