This recipe has got to be one of the easiest baby puree’s I have ever made and Millie loved it! I am a big of the Weelicious website and often use it for not only baby food recipes but also recipes for Oscar, for recipes for his lunch and snacks. I found this cannelini bean puree recipe via Weelicious and just love how simple it was to make. I have a hatred for any bean based foods (kidney beans, baked beans, butter beans etc) and I have passed that dislike onto Oscar, but I am determined to make sure that Millie isn’t as fussy with food as I am. That goes with fruit too!
1 tin of Cannelini Beans, cooked
1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp mint
2 tsp coriander
- Once you have cooked your cannelini beans according to the tin’s instructions, add all your ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. You may want to add a little water to thin the puree out a little.
- This puree is suitable for freezing, for up to to 2 months. To serve, thaw throughly and heat.
*This recipe makes 6 baby portions.
