kiwism2This morning I tried a new smoothie recipe for Millie’s breakfast; a Kiwi Smoothie. I found the really quick and simple recipe from one of my favourite sites; Weelicious. Millie hasn’t tried kiwi’s beforeΒ so it was a completely brand new taste for her today. Although she didn’t wolf this smoothie down like our Peach and Banana one, she still enjoyed it. Our mix made 2 baby portions, the second portion was fine to have the next morning for breakfast again. Or you could use to it as for a healthy dessert after dinner or something to fill them up before bed!

Ingredients:

2 kiwis, peeled

1 banana, peeled

1/2 cup milk (the recipe suggests rice milk but we used Millie’s regular formula milk however you could use almond, soy or regular cow’s milk)

Instructions:

  • Simply, place all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth and then serve!

*Makes 2 baby portions.
